I n Cat Terminal, your Cat’s rarity directly influences how its rig operates.

Each Cat is assigned a rarity based on its traits and trait combinations. That classification feeds into key rig parameters:

→ Mining Power
Determines the rig’s base performance and production capacity.

→ Mining Output
Mining power influences the rewards generated during each 8-hour mining shift.

→ Power Consumption
Higher-powered rigs require more power to operate, creating different operating costs across rarities.

→ Rig Economics
The relationship between mining output and power cost gives each rig its own economic profile.

The core system:

Rarity → Rig Power → Mining Output → Power Cost

This means rarity has a function beyond the artwork.

When you reveal your Cat, you’re not just discovering its traits you’re discovering the specifications of the rig you own.

Each rig operates within the same Terminal, but not every rig operates the same way.
