Great turnout for the Memory Mug Up today! Thanks to all participants & to the Centreville-Trinity-Wareham & Indian Bay Winter Festival for inviting us. Lots of memories from the above communities & places like Fair Island, Paul's Island, Silver Fox Island, Sidney Cove, etc.

We were at Centreville Academy today, where a whole herd of hobby horses were created. Similar creatures were recorded in nearby Trinity, Bonavista Bay a few generations ago, but they went by the names "lop chops" and "horsey chops." Much thanks to everyone for today’s workshop!

Yesterday during the loom set up Jessica realized a portion of the beater was missing so we headed to hardware store to troubleshoot. She ended up constructing a new part using a moulding! Now the reed can sit in place and be threaded for weaving.
