BREAKING: Donald Trump suffers a crushing defeat as a New York appeals court rejects his challenge to the gag order in his hush money criminal case — meaning he cannot speak about prosecutors and others involved in the case until he's sentenced.

Judge Juan Merchan is set to deliver sentencing on September 18th, just seven weeks out from the election on November 5th.

"Justice Merchan did not act in excess of jurisdiction by maintaining the narrowly tailored protections," the court said.

That means Trump will have to spend most of his campaign muzzled, unable to spread his lies and smears about the case.

Since Kamala Harris has the issues cornered — and Trump's only electoral tool at this point is whining — this constitutes a major setback for him.

BREAKING: President Biden strikes a powerful blow for average Americans as his administration formally proposes banning medical debt from credit cards.

The historic move would remove medical debt from 15 million credit reports, raising their scores by an average of 20 points.

This boost would lead to approval of roughly 22,000 additional mortgages annually, giving more people a real shot at the American Dream.

As of 2020, some 46 million people have medical debt on their credit reports.

“Medical debt makes it more difficult for millions of Americans to be approved for a car loan, a home loan or a small business loan, all of which in turn makes it more difficult to just get by, much less get ahead,” said Vice President Kamala Harris said.

“And that is simply not fair, especially when we know that people with medical debt are no less likely to repay a loan than those without medical debt,” she added.

The rule would also bar lenders from the barbaric practice of using medical devices like wheelchairs and prosthetic limbs as collateral for loans. It would block them from repossessing such devices if an individual to unable to repay a loan.

The rule could be finalized by early next year.
