TES had a jam-packed, super fun School Library Media Month! In April, we held a successful Book Fair, had several fun displays, had staff answer Would You Rather questions, held a bookmark contest and a genre poll, received new books, and more!! π»ππ
As we wrap up School Library Media month next week at TES, we will figure out how many students prefer books from each area of our library! Which area do you think will be the most popular in a school of about 450 PK-5 students? Stay tuned for results!
For the 100th anniversary of the United Way of Central MD, TES students worked with our Community School, Ms. Gomes, to create a box for accepting donations of household goods and non-perishable foods to benefit the Westminster Rescue Mission!

One of our 2nd grade classes decided to spread some kindness throughout the school! They colored little happy notes and βsnuckβ into the library to place the notes inside some of our most popular books! Canβt wait to see the faces of other readers soon!
At TES, our library has no shortage of biographies about amazing women from history and today! We have an interactive bulletin board where staff/students can celebrate a (s)hero in their lives! π On our news show, we share a different bio blurb each morning as well!
