I don't have a problem with 2 non-religious people getting married but if you're both religious and of separate faith, one would have to bow to another.

If as a religious Muslim man, you marry a religious non-Muslim and you believe your children will somehow end up as Muslims someday, my dear you're deceiving yourself.

Of course, they can end up as Muslims but maybe 80% of the time or more, they won't. There are many reasons for this that are out of your control.

- Kids often spend more time with their mothers and are generally more sympathetic to their mothers than fathers.

- Everything you try to force the kids to be Muslims, they see it and consider you to be the aggressor.

- Churches are certainly much more fun than a mosque.

- Christianity (at least on the basics) is certainly easier than praying 5 times a day and compulsorily fasting for one full month, once a year for the rest of your life.

- Christianity (at least on the basics of it) allows people to be more social. If I want to accept alcohol, I can be JW, if I want to accept LGPTQ+, I can be Catholic and so on. Once you're a Muslim, “no leave no transfer” ni.

We will pray for you my brother, we hope other religious Muslims learn from your story.

You have to know.. That when you walk into the A/E in a Nigerian tertiary Hospital, people will rush to your rescue. A nurse will check the vitals and alert the doctor on call. Jointly, they'll try to stop bleeders, secure airway, ensure breathing and all.
