Because the gas their getting is 5 TIMES the price of the stuff they were getting from Russia.

Which is leading to some companies closing their doors.

or ideologically to wage any sort of armed conflict on Russia. The people of western countries are too pre-occupied squabbling amongst themselves to harm Russia.

So what would it matter if Ukraine become more EU-centric? It's a time of open trade, why do they fight against it?

What I don't understand about Russian decision-making is this inflexible need for "sphere of influence".

The European nations have relied on America to handle security/military for the last 80 years. They aren't in a place militarily or...(cont)

IF the dollar stops being the reserve currency of the world, yes we culturally are different Argentina but won't this have catastrophic consequences for the USA?
