Colleagues, a question - is it rude for a reviewer to say your paper should be run through Grammarly? Seems a bit so to me - particularly after 2 rounds of review - but perhaps I'm too sensitive 🤷‍♂️

@abigailthiemkey I should clarify - I love my job, and - generally - didn't have too much trouble finding it. The struggles I had were more due to "deprogramming" post-PhD - coming to terms with my new, non-academic identity, getting used to shifted incentives, and the like.

@am_anatiala I've finished them all (audio books versions), and honestly, they're great. My only complaint is they get a bit hard to follow at times due to some...complexities inherent in the core plots, but not intractably so.
