@DSAlarm@YankeesRealist Whatever it takes. The dude hits the ball to all fields with some pop already. Good early showing for a 19 year old. So many young hitters only show pull side power early on. I can imagine him abusing short porch in right in Yankee stadium too.
@DSAlarm@YankeesRealist Dax hopefully puts on 10-15 pounds of muscle in the next year or two. That double off the wall he hit to left center yesterday will become a HR. He has some pop but to have his hit tool translate into more power gotta get him up beefed up. I think he has the frame for power.
@AaronCReale@pamsson Unfortunately Lagrange has reliever risk written all over him. Not sure if he would stick as a starter long term. Yeah he misses bats but he doesnt throw enough strikes. Walks too many guys. 33 walks in 66 innings this year in triple A. That wont fly in the MLB as a starter
@ChadMoriyama Is it possible that Davalan ends up the best of the OF bunch? Sweet left handed stroke. Keith Law predicted future all star with 25 hr pop. Could be a 0.300/0.400/25hr guy?
@Mason_King2@CalBearCanha@zachlowesmoptop@knbrmurph I think Farhan and his guys were responsible for all the prospects until last year. So the jury is still out on Posey and his crew to draft and develop players.
@Davidjohnshogf@MLBPipeline@Dodgers@greatlakesloons I think Chuck Davalan will end up being the most productive Dodger prospect outfielder. Probably better defender than Sirota, De Paula. Sirota or Davalan may be the best out of the bunch. Chuckies hit tool from the left side may be a 300 hitter with 20 plus bombs low k rate to
@CalBearCanha@Mason_King2@zachlowesmoptop@knbrmurph What happens if the 2027 season is more of the same as this season? You think they let Vitello play out his contract? I bet he will be the fall guy next year for the poor roster construction that is Busterball- super aggressive hitters with low walk rates save for Elderidge.
@KNBR@AndyKHLiu@knbrmurph Do you think Buster really hired Vitello thinking we need to give him a few years as there will be a learning curve? I can understand that with a young team not trying to contend but I think Buster had the idea Giants were going to be in contention for the playoffs. Odd hiring.
@Mason_King2@CalBearCanha@zachlowesmoptop@knbrmurph This year Devers is striking out 32% of the time. That percentage is going to increase as he has a harder and harder time hitting that high fastball which has been more noticeable this year
