@wfaaweather @NWSFortWorth took their sweet time to warn Collin and Dallas. It was right upon us by the time they posted the alert. WAY too slow.

@PlanoParksRec Unrelated, but any announcement about rec centers being closed due to COVID19?

[Pete Delkus @wfaaweather]

NEW TORNADO WARNING until 7:30pm for northern Denton County. Area of concern is crossing the north loop in the city of Denton moving north at 30mph. This is the only active Tornado Warning at this time in North Texas. #wfaaweather

[NWS Fort Worth @NWSFortWorth]

6:22 PM - Still concerned about the tornado threat in southern Denton County...just south and southwest of the Justin & Northlake areas. The tornado warning will continue for southern Denton County. Very heavy rainfall and flooding may become a concern. #dfwwx #txwx

@wranglertx @seabreezewx @PlanoEM They can confirm w/multiple official sources though. Yesterday was inflow scuds that scared people. I was under the alleged “rotation”, saw only inflow and a foot. No mesocyclone rotation.
