Northampton joined the Football League in the 1920/21 season when switching from the Southern League.

Northampton are 1 of 67 English clubs who have never appeared in the Non league.

@naggerpagger @RMcCarthy98 @EFL Actually league which was created to be the leagues under div 4 was originally called the (your county) CL (county league) it wasn’t until the 1968 that non league or a league not part of the football league association was formed by which point we were a div 3 club.
