Given the Green Party’s well-documented history of supporting those who commit criminal offences against govt politicians, the recent disturbance by pro-Palestine protesters linked to the Greens that forced the gallery to be cleared and closed for a week, and public statements from Green candidates suggesting it will be difficult to refrain from violence against govt ministers — not to mention their abusive online behaviour — Gerry Brownlee must act.
