All Gave Some, Some Gave All
Today, we honor and remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice wearing the uniform while defending our rights, freedoms and our great nation.
We will always remember and uphold their legacy.

Confidence is increasing in some severe thunderstorms moving through later today. The main threat is damaging wind gusts, with storms beginning to develop and move in after 2 PM. Make sure you have ways to receive any warnings! And when thunder roars, go indoors!
It's just a test....SEPTA & Philly Fire Dept conducting a Full Scale Emergency Drill TODAY starting at 10am. Service will not be impacted but will notice police, fire & emergency personal as they prepare for high profile events coming up.
Just one more day of the summer heat & humidity before cooler weather arrives Thursday. Showers and storms will develop ahead of a cold front that will move through later tonight. Some of these storms could become severe, with localized damaging wind gusts being the main threat.

Walnuttown Fire & Rescue LODD, Asst. Chief Robert Shick Jr. is the son of former TFC Member and member of the former Heavy Rescue Competition Team, the late Bob Shick, Sr.
R.I.P., Chief. Fair Winds and Following Seas.
I've ordered Commonwealth flags on all Commonwealth facilities, public buildings, and grounds across Pennsylvania to fly at half-staff in honor of Fire Chief Jeffory L. Buck and Assistant Fire Chief Robert R. Shick Jr. of the Walnuttown Fire Company, who were killed in the line of duty on Saturday, April 4.
As I shared with Captain Zach Stufflet this morning — we stand ready to support his Fire Company as they mourn the loss of two of their brothers in uniform. Lori and I invite all 13 million Pennsylvanians to join us in praying for Chief Buck and Assistant Chief Shick’s loved ones.
May their memories forever be a blessing.

FDNY members, family, and friends gathered Wednesday for a walkout ceremony for Probationary Firefighter Stephen Cain, who was released from Staten Island University Hospital.
Firefighter Cain was injured while operating at a 2-alarm fire at 124 Conklin Avenue in Brooklyn, where units encountered heavy fire throughout the first and second floors of a private dwelling. While operating, two firefighters, including Firefighter Cain, sustained injuries and were transported to area hospitals.
We thank the dedicated staff at Staten Island University Hospital for their outstanding care and support.
