Last year’s training camp in Jersey?
Brutal.
Kaden Marker credits teammate Angel for molding him:
“He didn’t make it easy… but he made me who I am.”
That edge paid off when the Hurricanes were running on fumes late in the season.
Tune in to the Hurricanes Doc 👀
What a day in the TFL.
After we reported earlier that Callan Wood was a key detractor in this year's captain voting, he has claimed that Israel Schuman is the league reporter.
Schuman declined to comment when reached Thursday night.
Sources have told TFL Reports that Callan Wood was a swing vote against bringing a former New Haven basketball player into the league as a rookie. Instead, two veterans rejoined.
Cal said Thursday that "the league made the decision and I stand by it."
Jared Mckinley might be the TFL's most hated player.
After Ethan Stetzel rated him a 0, Zane Burke has been going at him all week in league channels.
Jared: "Zane what in the world is your beef with me?"
Sources are saying Lukas Turnwald's knee has been bothering him this offseason after he had an arthroscopic procedure on it after last season.
Is the veteran's body breaking down?
Sources: Jackson was frustrated with Tim Jordan's commitment last year, owing to skipped practices and a draft night no-show.
Renegades assistant: "Tim thinks he's above it all. That doesn't work in this building."
Is a reunion out of the cards?
Josh Sparks spouted off in league channels today about his overall rating (77) being lower than Q's (81).
"Production just speaks," he said in a text shared with TFL Reports.
Is Q's rating more about his juicy guns than his play?
Sources: A captain voted Israel with a higher overall than Grant in league polling completed yesterday 👀
Wonder what the reigning OPOY thinks about that from one of his own...
BREAKING: Ethan Stetzel is back.
The beleaguered veteran has been included on this season's player ratings survey, and league sources have confirmed he will return after two years away.
TFL commish Gabe Koehlinger just added Jake Booth to the league group chat👀
Looks like the captains opted for a familiar face, and Booth wanted to return to his Fort Wayne town roots from Chi-town.
League sources already calling the move "fascinating."
4. While five captains couldn't pass up the hypothetical chance to take a top QB in Angel or Tim, one went a different route in ranking the first pick fourth most valuable.
Who do they have their eye on?
With pick selection around the corner, TFL Reports has polled the captains on their valuation of the six draft slots. Here's what we found out:
1. First pick (Angel?) reigned supreme with an average rank of 1.67.
(1/)
2. 2. Captains can't make up their mind on the 3rd pick. One ranked it (likely Zane) first. Another ranked it last. Seemingly a divide in whether Zane is seen as a cornerstone.
3. Three captains ranked the 6th pick as their 4th favorite. As always, some love the turn.
(2/)
Word from commish office: They're looking for 2 guys to complete this year's roster.
League has built quite the list of castaways over the years to recruit from. One name off the list? Jake Booth.
Sources saying he's making too much as a Chicago finance bro to take a pay cut.
PICK CHOICE ORDER IS IN
This year’s order:
Kraken
Renegades
Fighting Amish
Criminoles
Hi-Steppers
Hurricanes
Once all 18 people in the league are solidified draft order will be decided
