It's absolutely possible to hate someone's ideas, viewpoint, policies, and politics and NOT hate them as a person. I know this sounds impossible but we as a society have normalized hating each other as fellow humans. Lead with love and understanding while fighting bad ideas.

RFK is saying one thing and one thing only about vaccines: that they should be studied like any other pharmaceutical product.
The fact that it is the position of the media that these drugs should never be studied is dangerous and batshit crazy.
Despite being treated as separate conditions, many mental illnesses share common underlying factors. As @ChrisPalmerMD explains, disorders like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, and even Alzheimer’s disease all involve some level of neuroinflammation, metabolic dysfunction in brain cells, and neurotransmitter imbalances.
The similarities suggest there could be a common root cause, and emerging research points to metabolic health as a key factor.
Not a lot of people understand this... but you actually don’t have to have an opinion about everything. You don’t have to decide if something is good or bad. Marcus Aurelius says limiting the amount of opinions we have is one of the most powerful things we can do in life.
The minimum daily dietary requirement of sugar is 0g.
There are no human biological processes that require dietary sugar.
Our livers have a small, finite capacity to metabolize sugar.
When we overwhelm it, very bad things happen.

What are the chances that meat, eggs, saturated fat, and full-fat dairy—foods we've eaten for thousands of years—are suddenly the villains behind the surge in obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and cancer in the last 50-100 years? Meanwhile, all the processed foods and ingredients invented in that same time frame are somehow off the hook? Make it make sense!

Here is a charming time-lapse video of a toddler in discover mode. His "secure base" is not far, so he makes a long and varied off-base excursion, to find and try out new things.
The most important reason to treat people well is not what you'll get in return. It's who you hope to become.
Kindness is not about reciprocity or karma. It's about character.
Civility doesn't need to be justified with consequences. Respecting others is the right thing to do.
The central KPI of American healthcare policy should to reverse chronic disease rates among kids.
Everything else is noise.
This is all we should be talking about.
I was asked recently what I’d say to a lower income single mother who can only afford McDonald’s and other ultraprocessed food for her kids.
I’d tell her that she is poisoning her kids.
We must change our policies but we also need to use direct language about what’s happening.
Direct communication and education is essential for personal responsibility and empowerment. The problem is that the food industry has convinced us it is taboo to speak in clear English language about the cause of the metabolic health crisis among kids. That using direct language about it the cause of the childhood obesity epidemic is “insensitive.”
If you are a parent and the majority of your kids diet is ultra-processed (added sugar, processed grains, fried) - you are committing grave harm to your child’s cells.
Yes - there are trillions of dollars of incentives and grave corruption stacked against you, but this doesn’t change the scientific fact.
On the price of non-poisoned food vs McDonald’s, this is not true. It is possible to buy and cook whole foods without breaking the bank.
On the question of “taking too much time”, I think we should have direct conversations as a society of where not poisoning kids should fit on our priority rankings.
We have a moral obligation to kids to use clear language about the cause of childhood obesity and work together to solve it.
