TV - #ThePenguin - Delivers with award winning performances, good action & a gut-wrenching finale which reminds everybody how much he deserves to be at the top of BATS "Rogues Gallery" But wheres the Bat been hiding?

Film - #HereticMovie - Slots into my films of the year list. An unhinged Hugh Grant vs. the impressive Chloe East & Sophie Thatcher, who is quietly becoming a scream 👸 Religious types take heed, plus the ending will defo spark a debate in your circle! Bold - Smart - Creepy #a24

[Tha_Guyvar @TGuyvar]

Film - #Juror2 is a good old-fashioned courtroom drama with good all-around performances throughout. While the ending was abrupt, Holt & Collette did more than enough to satisy to the end. A tense solid affair.
Solid - Well Acted - A little long
#nicholasholt
#ClintEastwood

[Tha_Guyvar @TGuyvar]

Film - #MadS - is intense & up close from start to finish, as it bounces between 3 genres. Brutal at times, and the one-shot scenes are impressive. Avoid trailers & just go in blind on this one
Moody - Well shot - Manic

@KyleGallner @SmileMovie Film - #Smile2 - is a vastly superior sequel to an enjoyable original. Bigger, creepier & more daring. Naomi Scott is brilliant as a recovering celeb on the edge. The scares & deaths are more in your face, while the finale sets up something big!
Fun - Creepy - Daring - 5 star

Film - #thesubstance - is a creative, filthy masterpiece that delves into ageism, living through your kids, 2nd childhoods & the cruelty of an industry that is focused on youth. Career best from Demi Moore, despite a weird last 15 mins - Cronenberg'ish - Bold - Squemish - 5 star

[Tha_Guyvar @TGuyvar]

Film - #Terrifier3 - Art at times is cute, 2 mins later, he is the devil, a feat I've not seen many big bads pull off so easily. Great effects & clever kills help gore fans to eat well with this one. Story fans, though, may yearn for more than guts.
Gory - Insane - Gnarly - OTT

[Tha_Guyvar @TGuyvar]

TV - #Sweetpea is a fun, dark comedy that has plenty of unhinged scenes from the lead Ella Purnel. Leah Harvey almost steals the show as a young cop with her own issues to deal with. Even if you know the destination, it's still a fun journey - Bloody - Dark - Easy watch

[Tha_Guyvar @TGuyvar]

Film - #VHSBeyond - The VHS franchise continues to impress with gory, enjoyable, found footage shorts, which all but one deliver for me. "Stork" & "Live & let Dive" are my favourites this time around - Gory - Engaging - Creepy

Film - #Strangedarling - Has a lot in common with Longlegs. Both look great, well acted, but I've seen it done smarter. Once the 'hook' is revealed, if you buy it, the OTT kills & finale, then you'll like it. I didn't buy it - Slow at times - Muddled - Well Acted - Well shot

[Tha_Guyvar @TGuyvar]

Film - John Amos... Rest sir.

TV - #Twlightofthegods is savage, brutal & addictive. It instantly pulls you into the norse world & Sigrids quest for revenge at all costs. Great voice acting, and I would love to see a live action version one day.
Bring on S2 and S3
