If you knew Lamarr you would never forget him. It’s unexplainable sometimes how the world works, but I loved Lamarr for the incredible human he was and how much joy, kindness, and laughter he brought to the world. We became good friends many years ago and would always chat like buddies about our favorite things, dreams, silly jokes, and so much more. I’ve really struggled processing this news since learning about it yesterday. I’ve read through our pages and pages of chats back and forth laughing, crying, remembering, and looking for signals. What did I miss, what should I have done? I’m so devastated to learn someone who gave some much of himself did not get enough from us to help him want to still be here with us.
If you didn’t know Lamarr, he was a super talent. Made incredible content and had a rare talent to take any product or idea and explain it in a way everyone could understand. He was super generous with his time, mentoring others, always stopping to talk to folks at events and engage as well as give advice to others online.
To all his friends and family, I am sending love and strength your way. I’m also here if you ever want to talk to someone to help process this news. I’m also going to be personally donating in his honor to Crisis Text Line and The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
Rest In Peace Lamarr, will love and remember you for all you gave us while with us. 🙏🏻❤️
