I'd rather call it a position to empower than a "position of power". True leaders empower others to be the best they can be. Whether your admin or a teacher our goal is to empower the people we interact with to be the best they can possibly be. Consistency is the key.

🤣 Good God. A case study in schools being corporations, asking ppl to sacrifice their lives to be successful. When did the joy and fun of being a teacher get sucked out of the profession? Campaigning for higher wages is pointless when jobs are like this. Ppl will break.

@RogersHistory Unfortunately this is all too common. Not hard to see why the student is difficult. The poor teacher couldn't get a word on because of the mothers ignorance. When I was young is never wanted my parents to find out anything, otherwise I was in trouble at home. Not so anymore!

@flyingmonkey13 Couldn't agree more. Yet at my kids school they have 2 30 minute classes of PE a week. Not much time at lunch and recess to play. Yet many students need valuable play time to settle into academics. They are in grades 4 and 5
