@officialtwinny Another thing not spoken about is when women are loud to say it's your kid and when you test then it really IS your kid & they get to continue the facade like they weren't sleeping around just because the misfortune landed your way. They Betway the DNA and hope for the best.
@B____D___ The problem imo is that they will live the reality but carry the fantasy into every interaction. It starts to present in slights & disrespect cause the reality and fantasy don't align. Which is unfortunate for the poor chap who doesn't know he's in a social media experiment.
There was a time when the average man was incredibly naive about women. He had very little access to their private conversations, desires, sexual proclivities, dating strategies or what they really thought about men.
The men who understood more were usually the men with extraordinary exposure to women, players, womanizers, pimps, celebrities, wealthy men, etc. but were a tiny percentage of the male population. Most regular men simply didn’t have enough experience to know.
Social media changed that forever. Now a 25 year old man with an average job, average income and very little dating experience can gain insight on how women truthfully feel about sex, cheating, marriage, money, dating and what they actually desire.
Whether everything he hears is representative is a different question. But he’s being exposed to information that men like him in the past just weren’t aware of. People severely underestimate how much this has changed the dating landscape.
The average man did not suddenly become less romantic, he became less naive.
@Neekstylez1@ExpressThese_@XaviercMiller I too have had a similar convo and I think dude articulated it well in their exchange because now I'll be able to verbally Express what I've been feeling all this time.
@imnotforshits@XaviercMiller The problem is when we don't believe in the multiplier part and need their proof of love in this physical plane. Sex is mutual, money fluctuates, looks fade. I need to see more than that to feel something.
I want people to actually read this entire exchange because it perfectly illustrates something much bigger than dating.
Her argument is, “If men are listening to women, why aren’t they using that info to become the men women want?”
I explained that a man can listen, understand perfectly, and use that information to become more selective, pursue less, establish different boundaries or simply decide he disagrees.
Watch how the standard moves throughout the conversation, Listen -> understand -> apply -> apply it in a way that benefits women.
If he hears her, understands her argument, processes the information and reaches a different conclusion, his understanding is treated as defective.
This is why so many conversations between men and women go nowhere. “You don’t understand me” often times really means “you understood me, but you didn’t arrive at the conclusion I wanted.”
And this is exactly why my original point matters, men are listening.
Social media has given men unprecedented access to women openly discussing everything pertaining to dating, sex & relationships.
The mistake is assuming that greater understanding of women would automatically make men more accommodating toward women.
Sometimes information creates empathy and sometimes it makes you more cautious, less idealistic, more selective and changes who you’re willing to pursue altogether.
You cannot demand that men listen to women and then invalidate what they learned because you don’t like what they did with the information.
Ironically, the reaction to men changing their behavior may be the strongest evidence that men were listening all along.
@Rallaz3ao@SirKrispyiii@XaviercMiller Literally what I was coming to say. Comments like this are what give them an out when they're dead to rights. Resorting to insults and backwards thinking only serves to ruin the argument.
@eternityvoidai@XaviercMiller Because it's absurd to think that someone else can read our minds. She doesn't have to accept it, but if we desire even the chance of being understood then we have to communicate it clearly, at least once.
@SpaceStationHo1@XaviercMiller It doesn't necessarily need to "bad" or at least not bad to all. It's just what we may not be looking for & I think because we've always been seen as the "do for women" archetype, when we do for ourselves it's quite jarring for them.
