@AlanShipnuck The Phil book was one of the best and FAIR sports biographies I’ve ever read. It hits the highs and the lows with the same pinache. Phil just seems to have flown too close to the sun too many times.
@RoKhanna Every year the fed govt takes in record tax revenue. And every year we are driven further into debt. Like a crackhead you promise if you just had a little more you could fix everything. Elon made millionaires out of regular people today. You’ve only taken, never given.
@Ezekle1 Stop shopping at Walmart. The employees don’t even act indifferent, they’re actually using more energy to ignore you and make you question your own sanity.
@mbs59er National team youth development. Look at almost every other country and their stars in any sport. They all come through their nation’s federation etc. This is a major reason IMO the US fell off the map so hard in tennis.
@JayVingtSix@JoelMBeall In a lot of instances that’s true. But this rumor has been kicking around X and SD clubhouses for a few months now. I could be wrong, but Im guessing Golf Digest has an attorney review this stuff before publishing. Doesn’t look good for Phil here.
@AlanShipnuck@Skratch If Rahm wins one of the next few majors and starts talking about unifying the game the PGAT would gladly take him back for $5-10m. Bryson is a totally different animal because the paint is already peeling on his new persona. Nice read Alan.
@TheBrancaShow Do you believe the Metcalf family will bring a civil case? And what kind of financial judgment would you expect they would be awarded if they won?
@japan_nobunaga Nobunagasan, I was in Tokyo for 3 days with my wife. I never saw these delicious egg sandwiches in vending machines, but I did get a clear day to see Mt Fuji in all of its glory. I was dismayed at how many restaurants served halal and how many foreigners there were.
@BigSwingTempo Im a decent athlete with a technically shitty golf swing (it doesnt look that bad). My swing is almost entirely based on timing. Some days I can go shoot a 78-79 when it all syncs up. The next fay I could easily shoot an 87. #golfishard
@DefiantLs When New Yorkers didn’t have the snow plowed or trash picked up I heard the first thing many asked was, “but who will pay for that guy to cut his dick off?”
@AlexanderPayton I used to think this was the price of admission for living in or visiting a big city. Then I went to Tokyo, Hong Kong and Seoul. Clean public transport, where people act civilized and respectful. What do those 3 cities have in common? Homogenous pop & Very few ____ people.
