In his speech, the leader narrated how the Companion of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S), Jabir bin Abdullah al-Ansari (RA), initiated the Arba'een mourning visitation 40 days after the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS). Jabir was joined by the surviving members of the Ahlul Bait (AS), who had been held captive by the Umayyads, led by Sayyida Zainab (AS), the younger sister of Imam Hussain (AS), and his son, Imam Zainul Abidin (AS), the fourth Imam of the Ahlul Bait (AS).

The Islamic Movement marked the annual Arba'een Symbolic Mourning Trek.

The leader, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H), delivered the closing speech, marking the end of the annual Arba'een Symbolic Mourning Trek, which commemorates the 40th day after the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS), his family members, and his companions on the plains of Karbala in 61 AH (After Hijrah).
