- had a different and longer route in mind, but water hyacinth patches clogging canals.
- a bit windy
- lots of birds
- a snakehead fry ball
- a figurehead for a short while

From Friday 5th April onwards, the Chao Phraya Express boat’s Orange Flag Line and Golden Flag Line will no longer stop at Wat Arun Pier. It will instead stop at the new Tha Tien Pier. Passengers who want to visit Wat Arun can take the ferry across the river from Tha Tien Pier.

Kayaking in Pathum Thani - Khlong Ban Phrao / Khlong Bang Luang Chiangrak. (24 km)

- multiple patches of water hyacinth
- a makeshift bridge blocking the way
- and portage because of a road cutting the khlong
