The new entry rules for #Thailand start today, 1st June 2022. For Thais, they no longer need to apply for the Thailand Pass, but foreign tourists and expatriates still need to register in advance.

The Thailand Pass website (https://t.co/foCveDep9J) has just been updated with the news that they will start accepting applications with the new rules on 29th April with entry allowed from 1st May. I’m told approval for vaccinated people could now take only 2-3 days. #Thailand
🇹🇭 THAI NEWS REPORTS: Entry rules for vaccinated arrivals has been relaxed. They no longer need to do a test on arrival or book a hotel. They are free to travel anywhere on arrival. They should only do a self-ATK test if they have symptoms. Due to start from 1 May. #Thailand

🔴 Starting from 1st April, the need for pre-departure RT-PCR test will be dropped. However, you still need to test with RT-PCR on arrival and then do self-ATK test on Day 5. Insurance is $20,000. This needs to be published in the Royal Gazette before official. #Thailand

@ThailandPass is anyone aware how tourists are treated in the hospitels provided by the heath system. Who is regulating them and what rights we have to ensure we are cared for Covid-19 and don’t get overcharged? I am using one and I feel this is a ripoff. #kluaynamthaihospital
One annoying thing about applying for the Thailand Pass is that you can only upload jpegs, so all the documents that I have as pdfs (most of them) have to be converted. Not difficult but just unnecessary. #ThailandPass
