Yesterday I saw a meme on Instagram: “What if SC-ST thieves enter my home and we catch them, can they slap the SC-ST Act?” Damn, this Haryana news is the same. A family caught a thief in their home; the thief even confessed, saying his two companions ran away leaving him there alone. After three days the thief filed a case against the owners under the SC-ST Act after a Congress leader encouraged him to do so.

In a tribal-populated village of Bigaudi in Maihar district of Madhya Pradesh, Hindu families are putting up signs of “घर बिकाऊ है” outside their houses and threatening exodus

This is after a Hindu tribal man Bhaiyalal Kol was lynched and thrown into a well by migrants Afsar Khan, Pappu Khan and Ajmer Khan

Tribal residents say they are living in fear and facing harassment from members of another community. Their concerns deserve serious attention - especially since a local, Shivnarayan, was similarly killed in the same village last year

The administration seems to be playing down the threats of exodus

Urge @KanoongoPriyank to get a thorough on-ground investigation carried out to understand the growing fears and concerns of the Hindu tribal families, including forced conversion of their daughters and illegal land grab, to push for necessary administrative measures

🇷🇺Russia deploys new Zubr layer to its close-in anti-drone shield

The Russian state corporation Rostec has delivered its latest Zubr anti-drone air defense systems to the Russian military.

The complexes are designed to protect critical infrastructure from small, low-flying UAVs and loitering munitions.

🔶Zubr is built for the close-in defense layer, where rapid reaction to the appearance of drones at low altitudes is especially critical

🔶It independently detects aerial threats and transmit targeting data to engagement assets

🔶Once a target is detected and locked on, the Zubr can engage it with concentrated fire

🔶The system can also operate as part of a unified layered anti-drone defense - plugging into a wider anti-drone network alongside larger systems, including Pantsir

🔶Rapid deployment makes it well suited to remote or poorly prepared positions, where maintaining equipment in constant combat readiness can be challenging

Zubr has proven its effectiveness in combat, with the number of real-world targets it has destroyed steadily increasing.
