At Tubu, one of the most scenic villages in the Okavango, I interviewed Mavona Sammeperwa. So, at the end of our interview, he brought out his musical instrument Seworoworo (mouthbow) and recited a melancholic piece in Seyei.

One of the saddest stories of Ngamiland is story of cattle. The impact of 1996 eradication of cattle lung disease (Contagious Bovine Pleuropneumonia), which led to mass slaughter of over 320 000 cattle in the Okavango, needs more academic research papers #legendsoftheokavango
