We live in my a society where people refuse to take responsibility for their own actions. It’s this “you made me do this” mentality. It hinders the ability for humans to improve. How do you improve if you never do anything wrong? How do you learn it was never your mistake?
@wholemars Option 4 is the way! It would organically be supervised without the need for nags. Missed a couple exits? Ended up in a different town because you were distracted on your phone or took a nap? Great incentive to pay for unsupervised! while still remaining just as safe.
@nakatomi2010@NotATeslaApp I remember them stating v12.6 was essentially v13 lite. That worked pretty well, so i can see this happening. Even if some features are missing, the core safety and driving ability will be improved
@josh_odgers@NotATeslaApp@elonmusk Doesn’t really have to be that way. If they were mainly focused on making hw3 work, then it wouldn’t be v14 lite. Lite meaning same model, smaller parameters. Just like running a new game with lower resolution so it runs in your old pc. Even though it wasn’t built for it.
@EightBitElon@NotATeslaApp You know, to many, their car purchase is the second biggest purchase of their lives and hope to get the most out of it for as long as possible. So resetting that debt is not the preferred approach.
@itsyigitgungor@NotATeslaApp To be optimistic v12.6 essentially is v13 lite and it’s been the best version of FSD for me. I’ll take v14 lite any day over not feeling any progress at all. Heck Even when they reach an unsupervised v15? Gimme v15 lite to get me by until the hw upgrade appointment 😝
@LifeMiddie@NotATeslaApp They mainly focused on saying that they would take care of us hw3. The extra bit of Ashok saying v14 lite is coming is reassuring because although they know AI3 can never run the full v14 model, they won’t leave us stranded all the way till they reach unsupervised in hw4.
