Also idk if this is a hot take
But I really loved that both dark faust & dark mephisto eyes & color timer are pitch black
Which I preferred a lot more compared to giving the eyes & the color timer purple/red light
Like it really help sells these 2 are darkness incarnate

[Wand to my heart, I wish we never met]
"Harry Potter...IS DEAD!"
You could almost feel the air being ripped away from the courtyard they had gathered in. Gasps and murmurs rippled through what was left of Hogwarts, others cried out in disbelief, Dracaena stood there in silence.
She looked past Voldemort and saw Hagrid, carrying Harry in his arms; eyes closed as if only asleep, but Hagrid was crying, and that told her all she had to know.
Voldemort had used the killing curse. Of course he did, after Dumbledore fell, the only one in his way was Potter.
The world blurred around her, whatever the dark lord was saying didn't register in her mind as words.
As if drawing the blinds, the world began to dim, until she was left only with the image of his body in Hagrid's arms, and the sound of her thoughts.
"We had just escaped the room of requirement"
"I saw him last night"
"Maybe he's only pretending."
"He promised me he would come back"
He had come back, only not in the way she had hoped.
The night before he left to meet Voldemort in the forest, she had pleaded with him to stay.
"You know what he'll do to you Harry! You can't possibly go, you're our only hope of winning against him."
"Look, I-"
"You'll what!" She growled as she jumped up from the bed, venom in her words befitting of her house.
Dracaena glared at him, battered and bloodied, the one chosen to save everyone. But that night he was hers alone. Harry looked up at her and smiled, in such a way that felt forced. He knew she could see through him but he felt a brave front was the appropriate thing to show.
"I'm not afraid to die, Dracaena."
"I know that! But I am!"
"Even more than that, I'm afraid of losing you!"
Feeling the tears roll down her face, she turned away from him.
"4 years! In all our time at school only now do I have your attention; only now do you look at me with love; only now do you open your heart to me."
Her voice trembled, she began stumbling over her words. Harry moved to embrace her but she kept speaking.
"I lov- I've loved you, all this time, even when your eyes drifted elsewhere, even when you danced with other girls, even when your lips touched those of another; I loved you."
"And now!"
She spun around, facing him again.
"Now that I have you, you tell me you want to die! To go into that forest and let HIM take you away from me!"
"I'll come back." Harry answered, meekly meeting her gaze.
"How! Just because you're 'The boy who lived' doesn't mean you'll be that again! And what happens if you don't come back?! What am I to do then?"
Her voice roared even louder, he was certain others had awoken at the noise.
Looking away as if to shield himself, he softly whispered
"You'll find another..."
"Another what!"
"Don't you start with me Harry James Potter! I-"
Her voice had gone from a roar to a whimper as she wept again. Only then did Harry get up to hold her.
It was supposed to be a moment of warmth in the middle of a war, and yet to Dracaena, the embrace was ice cold.
And here, her worst fears were made manifest. Harry was dead.
[1/i'll finish this when i get back from the hospital, I'm on the night shift]
“You have her eyes.”
A phrase holding meaning that Draceana never really understood and one that so many had said it to her husband over the years. Each time his chest swelled with pride, his back straightened, and his steps grew more powerful. In those early years she thought the idea preposterous, who could ever be proud to be the child of a muggle? Who would ever say that having the eyes of them was something worthy of praise?
And yet, when she held their daughter, she understood. The girl’s hair was white-blonde, like her own, something she’d been smug about with Harry the longer it grew, but her eyes…
She had his eyes.
Irises of green looked up at her from the small one in her arms, filled with the same light Harry’s own held when her looked at her. Their daughter laughed with glee, and that sound was also her husband’s as well.
What filled her were contradictions. Her heart raced, but she was utterly calm. She felt lighter, yet was sinking into the ground. She was melting, but had never stood firmer in her life.
Perhaps their next child would have her eyes, a son with that unkempt tangle of brown Harry claimed was styled, but with orbs of silver beneath. Maybe both children would puff their chests out in pride upon hearing how much like their parents they looked. A pride that was not tied to purity of blood, but instead of the love that made them.
Thoughts for another time, for in this moment, looking down at her daughter, she indulged in a moment of selfishness. Those eyes, that laugh, were proof of their union, an existence that could have only been brought about by them and them alone…
And that was worth more than any treasure could hope to be.
playing totally accurate battle simulator and got confused when the fight wouldn't end, only to find two peasants off to the side genuinely MUNCHING each other like this
@Winters_Guitar1 @ZenlessWorld that and inbreeding maybe, I've heard someone mentioned that possibility. personally didn't buy into that but it is interesting
This is still the best kind of video I've seen from 2019 it's an unexplainable feeling of all sorts to be a kid in this moment receiving a gift from a parent like that
