A Palestinian aid worker who organised World Cup screenings in Gaza has been killed in an Israeli strike.

Mohamed al-Wahidi, the director of public relations for the Egyptian Committee in Gaza, was in a taxi on his way to the screening of the Egypt vs Argentina match when the missile struck the car.

The Israeli military said al-Wahidi wasn’t the intended target of the strike.

According to people interviewed, every night after work you'd find him on his porch, listening to music, petting his dog. He helped his three kids (U.S. Citizens) get through college.

It certainly seems that he was doing everything right, and then a federal agent shot him dead during a stop and his own son found out from a Facebook video, recognizing his father's voice as he lay bleeding in the street.

His son says that if his father had recognized any sign of law enforcement, he would have complied without question.

DHS says he "tried to run him over." This is the exact same lie they used to justify murdering Renee Good, a mother of three.

We are being asked to trust a rogue, lawless agency's word over a dead man's family, again, with no body cam release and no independent investigation.

Everyone should be outraged.

Palestinian nurse being held captive by Israeli military 'for choosing to save lives'

Luay Harara, a nurse at Gaza’s Al-Shifa Medical Complex, has remained in Israeli custody since his detention on 18 March 2024. According to his wife, Fatima Harara, and testimonies gathered from released detainees and published by Felesteen, Harara has been held in multiple facilities, including the notorious Sde Teiman detention camp.

Family members report that they have received information indicating he has been subjected to prolonged restraint and has suffered from untreated medical conditions, including scabies and hemorrhoids, for at least six months. These claims align with broader documentation from human rights organizations regarding the conditions faced by Palestinian detainees.

Since her husband’s arrest, Fatima Harara has been the sole provider for their two children, both of whom sustained burns and shrapnel wounds during the destruction of their family home in October 2023. She continues to advocate for information regarding her husband’s condition and his potential release, joining a growing movement of families and medical professionals calling on international organizations to intervene in the systemic detention of healthcare workers in Gaza.
