@playriftbound please 🙏 we need Tins like this. This will complete help with the collection and stop the scalpers 😂 we need direct access to top cards needed for decks instead of reprinting boxes just make tins with the Hot fire cards so everyone can have them and give us a few packs I’ll pay $20-25 for this
@playriftbound Suggested wording:
“When a spell you played resolves, give me +2 Might this turn.”
or
“Whenever a spell you control resolves, give me +2 Might this turn.”
This would better communicate that Diana does not gain the bonus if the spell is countered and would help reduce confusion between:
• Playing a card
• A card being on the stack/chain
• A card successfully resolving
I love digging into the rules and timing interactions, and I think a little more consistency between the terms play, played, and resolve would make the game easier for both judges and players to understand.
Just some friendly feedback from a player who spends way too much time thinking about Riftbound rulings. 😄
@playriftbound I have some feedback regarding card wording and the distinction between “play” and “resolve” in the current rules.
Under the current rules, a spell that is countered is not considered to have been successfully played for effects like Diana No Longer Human, Ravenbloom Student, and similar cards. However, other cards track whether a card was “played” even if it was later countered.
Because of that, cards like Diana No Longer Human can create confusion:
Current wording:
“When you play a spell, give me +2 Might this turn.”
Many players naturally read this as triggering the moment the spell is put onto the stack or chain.
But based on current rulings, the effect appears to care about the spell successfully resolving.
If that is the intended functionality, wording closer to the following may be clearer:
@MaysticLxrd@AlanzqTFT That’s a good question being you predict it you can summon it and then reveal the next card and if that’s a spell you can draw it lol
@AlanzqTFT lol easy lol what are you talking about predict decide if you want to keep it at the top if not recycle then reveal the top card o look the spell I need I’ll draw that thanks
@Jassmini2 Age does not matter if they are both considered adults by the states and the parent are ok with it. Yall sound like the left kinda people that think it’s ok to use pre nouns and teach kids how to cross dress.
