@gorillageek28 I really hope they explore this idea

[ThatKongFreak @ThatKongFreak]

Guys I made something and by made I mean I smooshed some Kong: Skull Island clips to the song Chop Suey! by System of the Down (with a minor tweak to the song bcs I could NOT figure out clips for the lyric)

[ThatKongFreak @ThatKongFreak]

@gorillageek28 Yoooo! Happy birthday!!

[Sofoets @mosuyanagi]

TRANSGENDER FOREVER !

[ThatKongFreak @ThatKongFreak]

@Thegoldeninja I mean it has both their names in the title, and has since the release. They have built up the franchise making these two a duo 🤷‍♂️

[ThatKongFreak @ThatKongFreak]

@gorillageek28 My absolute favorite was Skar King. Kong was making sure that Skar knew he was getting demolished

[ThatKongFreak @ThatKongFreak]

I have no basis for this but I think it would be really funny if one of Kong’s grandparents (however far back) had beef with Skar King
So when Kong showed up, with strong features being kept, there was a second where Skar King thought “not this guy again”

[ThatKongFreak @ThatKongFreak]

@Werewolfdrawer And you’re allowed to have that opinion :)
As long as you don’t clown on people whose opinions differ. That’s my only issue

[ThatKongFreak @ThatKongFreak]

Why am I seeing so much monsterverse hate? You don’t like the movies? Good for you. I do.
I like how they make Kong a person. I like the story and the way they can have seems with no dialogue and you still understand it. I like the batshit insane combat

[ChimericEcho ❁ @ChimericEcho]

"I like how they make Kong a person"

[ThatKongFreak @ThatKongFreak]

@F29Kasaibou @KaijuA79633 Adding to your point, I’d argue that they’ve made the Titans characters of their own. At least Kong and Godzilla seemed to have overarching personalities

[Charlie (Spooky) @GojiJPguy]

Watching GvK and getting to the part where Kong starts rocking the shit out of Mechagodzilla

[ThatKongFreak @ThatKongFreak]

If you don’t like it that’s fine. Not every genre is for every person. Get that through your head. You can say you don’t like something without dragging it through the mud and saying “you’re a stupid poopy head if you like this” Again: Not. Every. Genre. Is. For. Every. Person.

You do realize people can like different things than you, right? GxK isn’t bad. I like the story and how well they turn the kaiju into characters of their own just as much as I like the deep gritty stuff in minus one. Get off your high horse and let people like whatever they want

[ChimericEcho ❁ @ChimericEcho]

The problem isn't having both serious movies and goofy movies, the problem is that the goofy movie is pure ass

a movie can be fun without being absolute shit like we are getting since GvK

Idk how to spell it out for you all;
y'all really sound like cattle yearning for slop

[ThatKongFreak @ThatKongFreak]

@BasicArtist1983 Like guys they are for different audience. I love minus zero and I love the monsterverse. Give my my war allegory alongside my “big monster go brr” (which is a huge simplification for the sake of haha funny)

[ThatKongFreak @ThatKongFreak]

@TiltAndGo Exactly! I hate the argument of “I don’t like it so neither should you.” I love Godzilla and I love Kong. Plus, the complaint of not enough Godzilla is kind of silly since there are so many Goji movies (~38) and Kong has like 13

[ThatKongFreak @ThatKongFreak]

@Mr_goji54 Cosmic force you say 👀

[ThatKongFreak @ThatKongFreak]

Godzilla(Technically not the villain but close enough) and Kong (100% mc) in the new empire

[ThatKongFreak @ThatKongFreak]

@pinkinthefight I think we are making the same point with different words lol I 100% agree with you

[ThatKongFreak @ThatKongFreak]

@pinkinthefight Though I will say, some people are way to in depth with shipping and only see characters as “haha characters have sex tee hee” without seeing the bigger picture

[ThatKongFreak @ThatKongFreak]

@pinkinthefight To be honest, I think people having fun with ships is fine as long as they can understand the nuance of the characters as well. I don’t think it’s fair to judge ppl on their internet interacts with fandom
