2FA code by SMS is not arriving here in South Africa.

"trouble logging in" support option requires authenticate by only ONE option, SMS'd code. Same barrier.

Only option = phone call, BUT my setup can’t call international.
Plz add 2FA by email/other?

What would really help is if someone could look into why OTP’s by mobile phone are not successfully delivering to South Africa.

I am receiving OTP’s and SMS messages perfectly from others, so it’s not a fault on my phone / setup.

And most other service providers offer more than just ONE 2FA option.
Maybe it’s time for PayPal to catch up… 🙄

@AskPayPal Thanks, appreciated. But none of that helps. Rebooted & am getting SMS perfectly fine from other senders.
So the issue is 1) yours are not coming through. 2) it’s the only way to authenticate. So 3) an additional 2FA option is needed to mitigate for when SMS delivery fails.🙏🏼
