If I’m Boston, I’m really hesitant about making this move. You’re talking about gutting a championship level roster for a superstar you already don’t need to win. A trade like this could turn a great team into a top heavy one with no depth.
Giannis Antetokounmpo reportedly likes the idea of joining the Miami Heat or Boston Celtics, per @TheSteinLine
“I've heard something similar from a few different teams since the Chicago draft combine: Miami and Boston are increasingly perceived to be the potential trade destinations that currently — underline currently — most intrigue Milwaukee's Antetokounmpo.”

Wade is just being honest here. A lot of players think like that until they actually go up against international guys and realize it’s real skill over there. Once you see it up close, you understand basketball is basketball! It doesn’t matter where you’re from.
Dwyane Wade on playing against White/International players:
“From the community I’m from, if I see a white boy I’m like ‘oh I got him.’ I don’t know him at all. It’s just a perception that he’s not better than me. He can’t be better than me. You’ll hear a lot of African Americans speak from that space. From a basketball standpoint that was the thought. International players are soft. Then I played international basketball, and got my ass kicked. I was like ‘oh no, they’re SKILLED.’ Their game is tougher. Actually, it’s our game that’s softer”

Brunson is elite and way more versatile off the ball, but Luka is the engine of a whole offense every night. If you’re building a team from scratch for a title run, you’re still taking Luka over Brunson!
Max Kellerman and Antonio Daniels agree that they would rather have Jalen Brunson over Luka Doncic to win a championship 🤔
Daniels: “The reason I’d say that is because I’ve seen Brunson play with and without the ball.”
Max: “I agree!”

If Atlanta ever gets a real shot at a guy like Jaylen Brown, you at least have to take the call. But moving that kind of money and talent for a domino effect Giannis deal is a massive gamble! #TrueToAtlanta
Per @TheSteinLine:
• Atlanta is one team to keep an eye on if Jaylen Brown becomes part of Boston’s pursuit of Giannis Antetokounmpo, with some around the league believing the Hawks would have real interest in Brown.

"I felt this was a very winnable series... I just don't have this feeling the Knicks have absolutely clobbered the Cavs. I feel like the Cavs have done more to beat themselves."
🚨@RuiterWrongFAN tells @LanceReisland why the Cavs being down 3-0 to Knicks is so frustrating
@JonnyRoot_ Athletes create spaces for connection and community all the time. It’s not unusual for people to gather with those who share similar experiences, especially in a sport where representation has been a long-standing conversation. I see no problem with this!

Half black/half Japanese tennis player Naomi Osaka held a dinner party exclusively for black tennis players before the French Open
She defended the party by claiming there have been segregated white-only parties (Without proof, of course)
This woman is insufferable.
