The people cheering on the flooding may not be saying directly that they are happy for the children’s deaths, but they also don’t know what they cheer for. They are ignorant. They probably don’t know that 15 children have died and a dozen are still missing.
This is no better than when people see a woman get harassed and say ‘this is what she voted for so she deserves it.’ It’s hateful, senseless thinking.
@drowsy_spewpa I don’t know if Vaggie’s name was originally supposed to mean ‘vagina’ (probably not). Maybe they heard the jokes and inserted it in the canon.
Which they shouldn’t have. Because now that’s going to be the first thing a lot of people think when they see her.
@AydinPaladin I worked in close quarters raising rats and mice before. When choosing a bait to trap the mouse, I highly recommend dog food. I’ve used it with great success in the past. They like stuff with protein. Things like cheese and bread aren’t as appealing.
