These systems fail unevenly. Eye shape, lid fold, glasses, height, lighting — the model was not built around every face it now polices. So the car doesn’t just watch you. It guesses. And when it guesses wrong, the dash still treats you like a problem.

This is the emerging surveillance state in a personal vehicle. You bought the car. They kept a supervisor. Blink, sit too low, or have the wrong face for the sensor, and the cabin writes you up.
