The Clewer Initiative joins many others on this sad day to give thanks for the witness and ministry of Rt Revd Andrew Watson, the Bishop of Guildford. He was our patron and we benefited enormously from his generosity, care and support.

May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

#February8 is St Bakhita’s Day

Born in Sudan in 1869, Josephine #Bakhita was sold into slavery at the age of 7.

She endured abuse, violence, and the denial of her dignity. Once free, she dedicated her life to serving others, living with humility, tenderness, and joy.
