New life update: I've joined the amazing @EFDevcon team at the @ethereumfndn ✨

Ethereum is ready for the real world 🌎 and I've never felt more ready to do my part ⚡

My role will focus on three areas, all deeply connected to people, the layer 0: Volunteer Coordinator (applications just opened up! check @EFDevcon to learn how to apply), Community Hubs Coordinator, and Liaison for the Scholars program 🎓

I’m incredibly honored and happy to become part of the Devcon/nect team. As an attendee at Devconnect Istanbul and Devcon SEA 7, and with a strong background in events, I’ve witnessed and deeply admired the team’s work. The success of each Devcon/nect gathering speaks for itself, always curated with intention, cohesion, and care.

Because profound, long-lasting impact happens when we go further together, I believe this is the path to connect more people to Ethereum and help create global impact.

As part of my own onboarding process (which, as a huge fan of onboarding, I was happy to go through myself), I was asked:

Why do you care about @ethereum?

I figured this was a good opportunity to share my own why, hoping it inspires you to reflect on yours too.

Each of Ethereum's dimensions has inspired me in a different way.

I care about Ethereum as a whole because it brings together the values I resonate with most: decentralization, transparency, community and inclusivity.

I care about Ethereum as a network and technology, because it offers a decentralized foundation for coordination beyond borders and extractive middlemen.

I care about Ethereum as a blockchain because its transparency creates accountability and trust, opening up new ways for us humans to thrive.

Most importantly, I care about Ethereum as a community because it is one of the most open, cooperative, and uplifting spaces I’ve experienced, a place where curiosity is valued and diverse contributions are truly welcomed.

Your background, gender, age, or place of birth doesn’t limit what you can do. Identifiers don’t define your possibilities and realizing that is life-changing.

When we build on Ethereum, we can all contribute with our knowledge, craft, art, experience, and skill sets to build a better future for humanity, together. If that doesn't move you... what will?

Since the day everything "clicked," I've done my best to provide value in the areas of multilingual web3 education, onboarding, and in-person activities. To now join the Devcon/nect team is truly a wonderful next step 💜

Being born in South America, this Devconnect is even more special! 🇦🇷

If you're building on Ethereum and haven't visited South America yet, this is the opportunity to widen your perspective and feel the pulse of how the Global South is pushing real world Ethereum adoption.

Not because it's cool or optional, but because it's a need - so yes, I hope to see you there!
