At "Forging the Future", we had the opportunity to recognize world leaders who have made a fundamental difference in the competitiveness trajectories of towns, cities, states, regions, and nations around the world through the Global Competitiveness Awards.
"Forging the Future" kicked off today with the Annual Meeting, an exclusive gathering for GFCC Members and Fellows. Each year, we come together to share updates, exchange ideas, and explore new initiatives and opportunities across our global network.

Today, we visited the @ChampalimaudF, a hub for biomedical science innovation. The center conducts cutting-edge research in neuroscience and cancer. We also had an enriching discussion exploring emerging frontiers in health innovation and opportunities for collaboration.
First stop: Beato Innovation District, Lisbon’s innovation campus. We heard from Gil Azevedo, Executive Director of the @unicornflisboa, about the initiative’s vision and strategy. A rich moment to reflect on Lisbon’s model and connect with local leaders and entrepreneurs.
