LiNER Spotlight: Chinwendu’s CCNA Journey 🎯

For Chinwendu, subnetting was the challenge.

She went in thinking, “I like math, this should be easy.” But CIDR notation had other plans.

Instead of rushing through it, she slowed down, took her time, and focused on truly understanding the concepts. And that became one of the biggest lessons from her CCNA journey: when something feels difficult, sometimes you just need to give yourself time to get it.

There were definitely moments she wanted to give up, but documenting her journey online, wanting to see things through, and the encouragement of her friend and teammate, Kamila Kassim, kept her going.

Her advice to other women preparing for the CCNA?

“The CCNA is not daunting. It is doable.” 💙
