@Dandies19@ElrickRed@DandyDonSF Pensions will always go up. There’s no guarantee anyone will be worse off. There’s also potentially an improvement in the money markets from scrapping this. There’s a lot of noise being made by politicians but they all know it’s unsustainable
@Dandies19@ElrickRed@DandyDonSF By including average earnings as a marker, history suggests, compared to inflation and fixed 2.5% increase you’d need £600M more annual provision as average earnings track above those
@Dandies19@ElrickRed@DandyDonSF It will increase by the higher of 2 things, rather than the higher of 3 things. Increase is the key part here. Do you have a guaranteed annual pay increase as a worker??
@joeywheelerT4@Nightowl_10@indykaila Indeed. They should have started life at the bottom of the pyramid with a clean slate. The new company reluctantly accepted it as the price to get a membership starting at a higher level. It was a fudge to suit both parties
@joeywheelerT4@Nightowl_10@indykaila Because if they refused they wouldn’t give them a membership (as a new club, they didn’t have one). They got fast tracked through the pyramid for accepting it
@hunskelper__ It’s really not difficult. If someone is called John, then change their name to Jack, they are the same person (see Celtic). If John dies and his pal George comes along and decides to call himself John, that’s not the same person and they don’t have the history (see Rangers)
@joeywheelerT4@Nightowl_10@indykaila Had forgotten that nonsense. Even new Rangers tried to run the argument it applied to old Rangers. Eventually they accepted the SFA’s ban. All part of the concocted fudge to try and pretend all was the same .
@joeywheelerT4@Nightowl_10@indykaila That punishment was imposed on the old club in April 2012 that went into administration. The new club wasn’t created until later that summer. https://t.co/pNzmgbS8bw
@67_Celtic_1888 As usual, he chases the ball. Has always done it, never marks a man and it’s why we get picked off with ease in Europe. Completely ill disciplined, scatter defence that only works with SPFL cannon fodder
@gerrybhoy007@TheCelticWay3 Baur has 3 men converging on him from different angles. McGregor is sitting (as always) in the pocket and has 40 yards to clip a pass into Donovan or even Hassan. But he doesn’t play anything progressive and hasn’t for a long time
@RowleyAnalysis It’s mindset. Almost always the receiving player is thinking backwards or sideways, none of them taking the ball on the half turn with the purpose of going forward. A team full of passengers and very little inspiration, scared to do something different
