@DougPolkVids The bad news is, you're drawing dead; you'll never not be drowning from here on out. The good news is, you just kinda learn how to live happily with no outs.
Hey Poker Twitter; if you are going to be in the Rockford area May 3, I'm hosting a charity poker tournament for my friend's son, who was paralyzed at a track meet last month. $120 buy-in, $10 add-on, charity gets 20 percent of everything, so 80 % payout. https://t.co/cmhxcrM7m9
@OrloPorter@jemelehill I was making the point that the superintendent of OK schools, who in this video states that students should understand U.S. history, probably hasn't taught any lessons on one of the most important and devastating events in his state's history. HBO has nothing to do with it.
@EricLDaugh You do realize that we were going to have "better border policies" until Trump demanded the GOP spike the bill so he could campaign on the issue (with ads like this)? You do realize that, right?
Prosecutor: "Your honor, the defendant was charged with DUI for having bloodshot eyes, slurred speech and an inability to maintain focus."
Defense attorney: "Your honor, my client is Jay Cutler. Look at him."
Cutler: (/Waves finger around face.)
Judge: "Case dismissed."
@JonathanLittle Answer I'll write on the test: Having a plan in place for different responses to my actions.
Real answer: How to insult a person without having them realize they're being insulted.
@SarahSpain I'm deaf in one ear and have tinnitus in my other. Using earbuds create problems because they hinder my ability to hear real-world sounds. I therefore use speakerphone almost all the time. That said, I 100 percent agree with your post. "Hi. Can't talk. Call you back/text. Bye."
@NickShepkowski Sandwiched between announcements of mass layoffs and huge multi-year contracts to analysts who inanely caterwaul scorching hot takes at each other.
@GuruFantasyWrld How to win in fantasy
Step 1: Understand the virtually universal league rule that waiver claims aren't allowed prior to Week 1.
Step 2: Just draft the players you want.
Step 3: Don't make stupid tweets.
@Eric__Shunn@MSemianczuk @KevinRobMartin "if everyone always folds when you raise in tournaments," and you don't win every tournament, you should quit poker.
@MSemianczuk @KevinRobMartin There's some truth to KMart's generalization, and this is the reason. In tournaments, getting a fold (whether in bluffs or equity denial) almost always has a significantly higher value than the same fold in a cash game.
@JoshuaArieh It's impressive to watch the mental gymnastics that are needed to believe any new expenses incurred by ultra-successful corporations should and will be passed on to the common man, but any new successes enjoyed by those same companies should NOT be passed on to the common man.
@Drizztdj@JoshuaArieh 1,000% guarantee the ultra rich aren't having a freakout right now because they fear tax increases would eventually trickle down to <100K earners.
