One of the most common misconceptions about trading is when people say you need to remove emotion or trade like a robot

Why? Show me a quant firm using robotic algos that make 1000% returns in a month.

You can't. It doesn't exist.

Your discretionary tools are your edge. Learn to use yourself as part of your trading.

If you notice you are too euphoric and dunking on people and that tends to be the top of everything, react to that and take some profits next time

If you notice yourself thinking it's over, and see people fudding your bags all the time and that tends to be the bottom, then weather the storm or buy more.

You are your strongest weapon. You just aren't using it properly yet.
