💚⚡ Hal Jordan has one of the most powerful wɛapons in the DC universe, but his biggest weakness is his own rɛcklessness.
The Green Lantern ring can turn imagination into reality, yet Hal's arrogaŋce and impuƖsive decisions have nearly dɛstroyed everything he swore to protect.
A man who once brought the Green Lantern Corps to its knees as Parallax shouldn't be trusted with unlimited cosmic firɛpower.
Hal has the willpower to challenge gods, but sometimes lacks the judgment to handle his own ring.
K-Drama, Please Let Actors Age
As you reach your mid-30s, it gets harder to connect with K-dramas, because all the characters look too young and unrealistically perfect.
Watching My Demon, the FL looked like a teenager playing an adult role. Looking at her, it didn't feel like she had seen anything in life, or experienced anything. And then watching Love To Hate You, its characters felt much more mature and relatable. Still pretty, still polished, but their faces showed age and experience, their acting had that same maturity.
In Hollywood also 30-year-olds play high schoolers, but in K-drama it happens even more. The whole industry has put pressure on actors to always look young and flawless. That's why dramas like Flower of Evil, Cunning Single Lady, The Glory come to mind where the main characters are a bit more mature.
On the other hand, there's also this thought that K-dramas are watched to see pretty young people, normal people are visible on the road anyway. But the thing is, when you yourself turn 35, you want characters who are living a life like yours.
What do you think, should K-dramas let actors age naturally or is this fantasy itself their soul?

🧵:
I was 18 when my brother stole $14,000 my grandmother had saved for my college education. My parents told me to forgive him because “family comes first.” I left home that same week.
I moved to Phoenix, Arizona, worked nights at a grocery store, and paid my way through community college. Meanwhile, my brother, Tyler, bought a car and bragged about how easily he made money.
For five years, we barely spoke.
Hitting his mom like that just confirmed what his mom accused him of….he did something to his father on the night of his prom 10 years ago and he acting like he don’t remember.
