Socoya Moody's passion is giving black children a place to learn gymnastics. But despite her program's success, poor equipment and prejudice have taken a toll on her team. That's why another non-profit is trying to help out. @ATLNewsFirst at 6:15.

@LeaderCactus Our natural hair & our natural hair styles are often mocked & made fun of or demonized. Braids, Bantu nots, dread lochs, whicks, all these hairstyle that grow naturally for us are seen as inappropriate. @The_AOCproject highlights this. So to call it Mickey Mouse ears irritated me

All the mocking and name calling don’t sit right with me when you don’t know history behind it.
