@historyofderm @drshannonkroner This is correct, they are two different things. However its also the case that until the 70s i think, they didnt vaccinate kids with eczema. And eczema used to be thought of as a severe issue (until the advent of topical steroids).

📍The thing that worries me about the new #EG5 variant is whether it is incredibly immunity evasive against past infections/vaccines (especially the 80-85% who never got Omicron bivalent booster shot)— and how infectious & severe it will be? And why now this summer if it has been steadily growing a while (but not spiking)—was it the July epic heat wave that sent people into indoors for AC? And is the latest case surge going to overload hospitals or just create a modest wave? I’m still trying to figure this out using data collated from US and Europe. I’m being more cautious with this new WHO-proclaimed #COVID19 “variant of interest”. Meantime please #MaskUp and #ventilate and #HEPA disinfect your schools and office buildings. Better safe than #LongCovid sorry—because 10-20% LC among those infected is ENORMOUS and itself going to crush healthcare systems down the road. #CovidIsNotOver

In my 6+ yrs in the NHS (20 yrs ago) I supervised @ 400 families with kids under-6 with emo/behavioural issues.

NEVER did parents ask "is my child in the wrong body?"

Spoke with an ex-colleague yesterday & in her 60+ families 5 parents asked this! Gender ideology's SPREADING!

I despair that some parents would rather ask if their young child is "trans" than get to the heart of their child's emo/behavioural issues.
Gender ideology has SO much to answer for.
At this young age most kids issues are about stress in the family (something many parents don't like to face!), lack of boundary-setting, undiagnosed neuro-diversity, etc. It's NOT about them being in the wrong body #LeaveOurKidsAlone #LeaveTheKidsAlone

@Inversionism I haven't read Salk's book, just added to my list. Do you have a book on history of med and Rockefeller? I have done a little reading on that but wouldn't mind something more comprehensive.
