My advice to anyone who plans a fitness transformation in 2023
You don’t need to hit the gym 7 days next week. You need to go once
You don’t need to lose 30lbs you need to lose one
You don’t need to eat perfectly clean from now on you need to make better choices
Start small
How about instead of only thinking of exercise as a means for weight loss, we use it to make ourselves stronger, more capable, harder to kill individuals?
The main reason to re-rack your weights is to respectfully keep the gym tidy. The other reason is so I don’t have to tap your lazy ass on the shoulder to ask you if your done with whatever the hell it is you’ve been doing to the squat rack for the last 15 minutes.
@JohnstonJamie31 @8ballwakefield@fesshole Fruit and veg and bakery have to be identified in the screen and first and they have a tolerance. But everything else needs to be bang on. When these machines are first fitted they don’t know any item weights and it take 3 scans before they learn. You can get away with murder
@8ballwakefield@fesshole The bagging area is a giant scale that weighs every item after you scan it. There’s a database that holds the weight and information for every product. The glass bottles for the wine would have to be the exact same weight and generally expensive wine comes in nicer thicker bottle
@ring I swear to god. I’ve had to ring customer support twice now for a replacement door bell. Both times the guy on the phone has taken my address wrong. The first time it went to the wrong country. Why I can’t I just email it to you instead of over the phone like every other company?
If you’re trying to make changes for a healthier new year try these 3 simple, achievable things:
Walk 10,000 steps a day,
Drink 2-3 litres of water a day
Sleep at least 7 hours a day
Don’t try to overhaul your whole life in one go, it probably won’t work.
