Ask yourself –
“Why do I need this person who abused me to say, “I’m sorry; I hurt you; It wasn’t you.”?”
“Do I need their permission to pick myself up, move on, and never look back?”
Be honest and dig deep.
Within the center of yourself is the answer; the key to freedom!
The violence you've suffered has caused you to forget yourself, to become something that you are not.
Look deep within, beyond all identity to remember who you really are.
Here is the key to freedom; to the truth of yourself and the power to change your life.
You've experienced a lot of pain; so much that it's become a part of who you are; it's become your identity.
But in order to be set free; to never experience it again, you must give it up.
Are you willing to do that?
If what you have isn't what you want, why do you keep doing the things that keep it continuously present in your life?
Take a small step in the opposite direction today.
Rinse and repeat, and watch your world radically begin to change.
The world isn't going to change.
There will always be good and bad; we live in a world of God's duality.
This is the unbreakable and repeating Divine pattern.
So what can you do?
Accept this fact; stop trying to change the world and begin to change yourself.
Forget drugs and alcohol, these are the deadly vices:
- the need for predictability
- the habit of being comfortable
- playing small
- fear of the unknown
- stagnation
- addiction to doubt and self-deprecation
- holding on to the past
This is a perfect example of why it is better to be alone than continue being with the wrong person.
Their rot (AKA: their negative beliefs and attitudes) will spread onto and into you.
The greatest threat to your potential is listening to those that haven't accomplished much of anything for themselves.
AKA: The majority of people who live in fear and self-doubt.
Keep your ears closed and keep moving forward.
If your partner doesn’t want to travel, go without them.
If your partner doesn't want to start a new hobby, do it without them.
If your partner doesn't want to go on a hike, go without them.
Don't waste your life on a partner that doesn't want to grow.
Go find someone new.
Want to see if your friends are real?
Tell them about something that's going great in your life and see how they react.
If they criticize or try to tear down your joy, they are not your friend.
If you wanna go far; if you want to make your dreams come true, get comfortable not being understood.
Most people live in fear; they don't believe in themselves; they're not gonna understand what you're trying to do.
Don't take it personally; it's them, not you.
Tupac once said.
‘Just because you lost me as a friend, doesn't mean you gained me as an enemy. I'm bigger than that, I still wanna see you eat, just not at my table.’
REMEMBER: You will always be misunderstood by those who live in fear, hate, and greed.
Your biggest haters in life are often the family, friends, and lovers you outgrew.
The problem is them, not you.
Keep reaching for the summit, it's why you're here.
Being by yourself is only scary when you're not friends with yourself.
Learn to love who you are without feeling the need to change for anyone (including yourself) and watch your world radically transform.
Life Hack:
If your partner is telling you that you're too confident and you need to tone it down because it makes them feel uncomfortable, you have the wrong partner!
Don't hang out with anyone who consistently speaks negatively about themselves or their lives.
We all have bad days, but I am not going to let you bring me or my life down because you refuse to pick yourself up and see the blessing of being alive!
