On this week’s episode of the #EShow, we shift back to Massachusetts for the next edition of the summer coaches’ series with Nic Cota from the Express Hockey Club. Coming off of another strong campaign in the EHL, Cota has hit the offseason running, looking to build further on the annual success that they’ve produced out of Walpole. Year in and year out, the Express are consistently in the ballpark of 30+ victories, to go along with double-digit NCAA Commitments. This on-ice success translates into the Express having established itself as annual contender each and every year to advance to Providence, RI, and the EHL Frozen Finals. In order to maintain that level this upcoming season, Cota is now faced with the challenge of replacing Ville Bodin and his 52 goals from this past season, Lukas Toth and his 29 victories between the pipes, and large group of what was a very deep Express team.
