@cestmoi_jessica @comcastcares @EmmJParker @comcastcares by not taking care of your employees who are in contact with customers, you are not taking care of your customers. At the very least, this biz risk should motivate you to act now--provide tools and training.
@cestmoi_jessica @comcastcares @EmmJParker @comcastcares: the virus is spread through touch and breathing. A tech could pick up the virus, and bring it to the next house w/in an hour, without experiencing symptoms. Signing a form to verify health is useless.
@comcastcares @EmmJParker @Comcastcares: please tell us what those steps are. The tech I know has not seen anything besides the letter he signed verifying he was not sick. Spend a little extra $ to mitigate risk for your people and your customers, and give your techs the tools they need to keep ppl safe.
@EmmJParker @comcastcares @comcast @EmmJParker, thank you for asking the question. This has been weighing on me as I have been seeing the complete non-equipping of the techs to deal with this issue.
@EmmJParker @comcastcares @comcast I know a tech. As of today, they haven't been provided with any safety tools: hand sanitizer for their trucks, or soap/water, gloves, wipes for equipment, masks, or training. But they did have to sign a form to show cust. they aren't sick, which is useless as they go home to home
@CDCemergency And get the tick tested for Lyme and co-infections? And what about if you don't find the tick and contract Lyme? What is CDC rec for Lyme treatment that wasn't diagnosed right after tick bite? You've provided just about 5% of the info here... #LymeDiseaseAwarenessMonth
@APStylebook Quotes can be powerful and are necessary to an article for many reasons. We can't paraphrase an entire article and not include quotes. If we don't use (sic) within a quote, how will reader know it wasn't just sloppy editing?
@DragonflyEdit What about "That being said"? I cringe when I hear or read that phrase. It can be easily replaced with "however," "but," "except," "yet," etc.
