Lo correcto es decir que los mexicas no habían desarrollado metalurgia aplicada a herramientas y armas, lo cual fue una desventaja militar importante frente a los españoles.

Pero "Edad de Piedra" evoca a cazadores-recolectores del Paleolítico, y aplicar esa etiqueta a una civilización urbana con ingeniería hidráulica, agricultura intensiva y administración imperial no es riguroso, es un titular que sacrifica la precisión por el sensacionalismo.
