@WilliamsJohn27 @Rebob72 @jaketapper You're right, but my point is that it's not equitable. California has 54 votes for ~39 mil people. Wyoming has 3 votes for ~600k votes. So Cal 1 EC vote = ~722k people. Wyoming 1 EC vote = ~200k votes. So a Wyoming vote is worth more than 3 times a Cal vote.

And no, not all elderly have ID. Plenty do not, especially in urban centers. But that's the point.

Making the poor and elderly and disabled jump through extra hoops to fix a statistically non-existant problem is suppression. Especially when states can close down DMVs in demographically targeted areas, which they do.
