Plus they have had the joint monopoly on the Ballon d'or for the past decade, something that Maradona didn't win once

@DistanceCovered I agree he doesn't play as deep as Coutinho can, but Lemar isn't exactly an 8 either. If we use the 4-2-2-2 we could use Dybala in either his best positions in 10 or 9 quite effectively. That being said, I rate the hell out of Lemar and wouldn't turn my nose to him.

@DistanceCovered While I rate Lemar extremely high, I think Liverpool should get the exact amount of money and get Dybala as a replacement. Only 22/23 and is at a higher level than Lemar or Mahrez for that matter. While he is already on par with Coutinho

@DistanceCovered That is a very valid point. Pep teams are tactically superior to anything, ever. But Klopp's are explosive and highly intensive and if we're on, we can beat anyone. Just need to fill our tactical and defensive gaps. And then I feel we can compete on a similar level

@DistanceCovered While I do understand the worry that Pep is only going to make City stronger each season, I believe that we are on an upward trajectory and the only reason we've fallen behind so much is our own undoing. If we continue to recruit well and find a fluid consistency we'll get there
